ABOUT

ME!

I am a peppy, joyful free spirit who also busts out Metallica at karaoke.

You may have seen me dancing on Good Morning America, Live! with Kelly and Ryan, and Live! with Kelly and Michael-- as a funky stormtrooper getting DOWN, a sexy genie with an unfortunate bit of fringe stuck to her glossy lip, and the right shark to Michael Strahan’s fabulous left shark. Never one to turn down an adventure, I 跳舞 (danced) at a live televised event in Shanghai, sailed the high seas performing with AIDA Cruises and Carnival Cruise Lines, and survived getting sawn in half every night at the Sandcastle Resort on the island Guam. I graced? the stage as Judy Turner in A Chorus Line, a dream role of mine. And sang at Carnegie Hall.

I have a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley, where I was also the captain of the dance team. Go Bears! Upon moving to New York City, I completed the Professional Semester program at Broadway Dance Center which led me to work with such incredible choreographers as Derek Mitchell, Chip Abbott, JT Horenstein, Sidra Bell, Mike Esperanza, and Al Blackstone.

The electricity of New York sparked in me a renewed love of acting. To that end, I have collaborated with many brilliant minds in the Off-Off-Broadway theatre scene, telling interesting and thought-provoking stories; I have also lent my talents to several thesis films. I continue to broaden my knowledge base: studying Improv at The Magnet Theatre, Film and TV at The Barrow Group with Lorrel Manning, and recently completing the On-Camera Summer Intensive at T. Schreiber Studio with Robert Verlaque, Jeffrey Dreisbach, and Peter Jensen.

When I’m not performing, you can find me strumming on Isa (my ukulele), riding Scout (my bicycle) around the city in search of the plushiest grass--top two so far are Governors Island and McCarren Park, though I’d love to hear your contenders, solving the NYTimes crossword puzzle with Nemo (my favorite pen), and apparently naming ALL the inanimate objects.

In the words of Salvador Dali, "a true artist is not one who is inspired, but one who inspires others." I feel so fortunate to be able to share my creative talents to inspire, connect, and ultimately, SPREAD JOY.
